Eurocell Hydro 15×15 cm – 5 pcs/box

Eurocell Hydro is a state-of-the-art solution for chronic and complex wounds. It consists of soft, non-woven “Carboxymethyl Cellulose” (CMC) fibers. It features a unique technology where the dry fibers transform into a cohesive, clear “gel” immediately upon contact with wound exudate. This gel locks in fluids and bacteria and maintains optimal wound moisture, accelerating the natural healing process without causing maceration to the surrounding healthy skin.

Description

Why Choose Eurocell Hydro?
Superior Vertical Absorption: Absorbs fluid vertically (upwards) rather than laterally, preventing exudate from leaking onto wound edges and protecting healthy skin from maceration.
Gelling Action: The dressing turns into a soft gel that conforms perfectly to the wound bed contours, filling voids and preventing bacterial growth in dead spaces.
Painless Removal: Thanks to its gel nature, the dressing does not adhere to sensitive tissue or nerve endings, making dressing changes very comfortable and pain-free for the patient.
Self-Cleaning: Promotes “Autolytic Debridement” by hydrating necrotic tissue and facilitating its removal.

HOW TO USE?

(For Professionals)
Warning: The wound must be cleaned thoroughly before application.
Clean: Wash the wound with saline solution and dry the surrounding skin.
Select: Choose a size of Eurocell Hydro that covers the wound with a 1-2 cm overlap on the edges (as the dressing shrinks slightly upon saturation).
Apply: Apply the dry dressing directly onto the moist wound. (For deep wounds, use the Ribbon to fill the void to 80% to allow room for expansion).
Cover: Eurocell Hydro must be covered with an appropriate secondary dressing (such as gauze or foam) to secure it and maintain moisture.
Change: Change the dressing when it is fully saturated and turns into a gel (can stay up to 7 days depending on exudate level).
